 Ann is an ERYT-200, soon to be 500. I have trained with leaders in the field of yoga & yoga therapy. I hold certification through Yoga Alliance as well as advanced certification in restorative yoga & yoga therapeutics.

WHAT IS RESTORATIVE YOGA?

 Meditation For The Body

 Restorative yoga is a passive practice whereby a number of supports are used to safely assist the muscles & joints to release & relax. Bolsters, blankets, blocks, straps, & eye pillows are used. Restorative yoga is often referred to as "active relaxation." Parts of the body, especially the spine, are stimulated & then relaxed, helping to move the body into balance. Some postures have overall benefit where others target specific body parts. All create the physiological response of relaxation & ease. We relax the body which leads to relaxing the mind.

 Restorative yoga is beneficial for:

stress; chronic pain; digestive problems; menstrual issues; infertility; anxiety/depression & for those times when you need deep rest & relaxation.

I offer these sessions 1:1 as well as group sessions 1-2x a month at Yoga Mandali in downtown saratoga Springs.

I also teach an open level yoga class there Wednesday evenings 5:30-7:00 &

a level 2 Core Strength Vinyasa Flow class on Friday mornings 9:30-11:00.

PRIVATE YOGA SESSIONS

I offer private yoga sessions for those whose wish to work 1:1 rather than in a group class or who wish to take their practice to another level. We work on alignment issues & learn to create a home practice suited just to you & your body & time.

I work from a model of beginning where your body is at, choosing postures suited to meet your needs & level. We work together to create the practice that works for you.

 

All private yoga sessions are $60 for the hour & held at my office. Please call to inquire about travel to your location & rates.
