HOT YOGA CLASSES: WHAT IS HOT YOGA?
THERAPEUTIC HOT YOGA CLASSES ARE A SERIES OF ASANAS(POSTURES) ARRANGED TO ENERGIZE, STRENGTHEN, & TONE ALONG WITH DEEP RELEASES TO PROMOTE RELAXATION & STRESS REDUCTION IN THE BODY & MIND. VINYASA & STATIC POSTURES.
THE CLASSES ARE HELD IN MODERATE HEAT(85-90). HEAT IS USED TO ASSIST IN STRETCHING & DETOXIFYING. HOWEVER, I DO NOT BELIEVE IN EXTREME HEAT AS WE CREATE OUR OWN INTERNAL HEAT THROUGH ASANA HOLDS & FLOW. EXTREME HEAT(ABOVE 90) MAY BE DANGEROUS FOR THOSE WITH PRE-EXISTING MEDICAL CONDITIONS. HEATED CLASSES ARE NOT RECOMMENDED DURING PREGNANCY.
HEATED CLASSES:
LEVEL 1- 90 MIN.
SUITABLE FOR BOTH BEGINNER & EXPERIENCED PRACTITIONERS. BASED ON THE BIKRAM SERIES WITHOUT THE "EXTREMES" IN HEAT & MILITANT STYLE. ALL "26" POSTURES ARE USED HOWEVER ARRANGED FOR A SAFER SEQUENCE THAT INCLUDES: UPPER BODY STRENGTH, HIP OPENERS & CORE WORK-ALL THE PIECES BIKRAM OMITS. VARIATIONS ARE GIVEN FOR EACH POSTURE AS WELL AS ASSISTS WHEN NEEDED.

COMBINING FLOW WITH STRENGTH. WE FOCUS ON CORE & UPPER BODY STRENGTH & STABILITY. WORKING DEEPLY INTO RELEASING THE BODY & MIND. FOR THOSE WITH ASANA EXPERIENCE. COME TAKE THE CHALLENGE!
